Possible Spain 2018 World Cup Adidas shirt leaked

Spain's Adidas shirt for the 2018 World Cup appears set to be inspired by the jersey they wore at the tournament 25 years ago, according to lacasaca.com.

Possible shirt features vertical diamonds like 1994 kit

A leaked image published by the football kit specialists this week shows a home strip featuring a vertical-diamond pattern that is highly reminiscent of the jersey La Roja sported at USA '94.

The template was also used for Spain's away and third kits in the United States, where Javier Clemente's men went out to Italy in the quarter-finals.

Adidas drawing on designs of early 1990s

The look is in line with Adidas' apparent move to revisit its kits of the early '90s at Russia 2018, with leaked designs for teams such as Colombia, Germany and Argentina suggesting the sportswear giant is also to draw on the 1990 World Cup:
