Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane spoke to the press ahead of his side's upcoming home game against Eibar on Sunday evening.
The French coach discussed the recent criticism, particularly by Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, of Karim Benzema after Los Blancos were held to a 1-1 draw against Spurs in the Champions League.
Does the criticism of Benzema. especially Gary Lineker's, bother you? "Not just Karim. The criticism of Karim does because it's a disgrace for people inside football [in reference to Gary Lineker's comments]. For me he's the best around. Karim's not going to score 60 goals, but he'll score 30 and be involved in 60".
La Liga. "We know what's needed. We play every three days and now we've got 7 games. But that's what players enjoy, to be playing. It's not easy but we've had almost two days to recover and physically we're in good shape".
Current form: "When you look at the results up until this point they're not bad. We can improve, of course, and that's what we're trying to do. In fact, we will improve. We're five points away from the leaders, and we're top of the Champions League group and have two trophies already. I don't know if people have forgotten that, but we haven't.
