Zinedine Zidane was named The Best FIFA Men's Coach 2017 at Monday night's The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony at the London Palladium.

Wins Best Men's Coach award ahead of Allegri and Conte

The Real Madrid boss beat off the competition of Juventus' Massimiliano Allegri and Chelsea's Antonio Conte to scoop the prize, for which he was a finalist in 2016.

Last year's winner, former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri, was on hand to present the Frenchman with the trophy.

Zidane wins the accolade after a 2016/17 season that saw him lead Real to a second straight Champions League triumph - defeating Allegri's Juve in the final - and clinch Los Blancos' first LaLiga title since 2012.

Zidane grateful to club and players

After collecting the award, he said: "This is something very special; I never thought I'd find myself in a situation like this and that I'd win such an important trophy

"I want to thank the [Real Madrid] players, who are the real stars," Zidane added. "I also want to thank Real Madrid, who gave me this chance to coach the club."
