Goalkeeper Moha on the bench for sixth game

17 year old goalkeeper Moha Ramos will be in Real Madrid's first team squad for around three months as Luca Zidane recovers.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Moha Ramos will be with the first team squad for at least another three months (the time it's expected Lucas Zidane will be out recovering from surgery).

Moha on the bench v Las Palmas

Moha was on the bench for the LaLiga victory against Las Palmas, his sixth match with the Real Madrid first team, after being called up for the matches against Tottenham, Girona, Fuenlabrada, Getafe and Eibar.

Until Luca Zidane is back he's nominally third goalkeeper, but until Keylor Navas recovers from injury he's effectively second keeper. This means that if anything happens to Casilla, Moha Ramos would make his debut for the Real Madrid first team, without even being 18 (his birthday is 13 April).

Moha could become youngest ever Real Madrid goalkeeper

And if Moha had made his debut, he'd become the youngest ever goalkeeper for Real Madrid. Canales currently holds the record, having made his debut in 1984/85 at 17 years 292 days. Casillas meanwhile was 18 years old and 115 days when he came on for the first team for the first time.

Above and beyond setting the record, making his appearance for the first team would be a significant step up for Moha Ramos, given that he's not even played for Castilla, Real Madrid's B team, yet. Before being drafted into the first team squad Moha Ramos was part of Guti's Juvenil A set-up. He's one of Real Madrid's Academy, known as La Fábrica, major promises, standing 1.89 (just over 6 foot 2 inches) with an imposing physique, as well as having superb reflexes and being good with the ball at his feet.
