MANCHESTER CITY
Messi and the Gallagher brothers pay tribute to Kun Agüero
The Barça striker and the former Oasis members were just some who paid tribute to Kun on becoming Man. City top scorer.
Kun Agüero is now a part of Manchester City history after the Argentine became the club's all-time top scorer after hitting the target last week in City's Champions league game against Napoli. Citizens boss Guardiola was anxious to celebrate Aguero's 178 goal haul and surprised the striker with a touching video tribute featuring the likes of Lionel Messi, Pablo Zabaleta and Liam and Noel Gallagher.
The video initially features a message from former City defender Pablo Zabaleta, a close friend of Kun's and now living in London playing with West Ham United and key to Aguero's adaptation upon moving to the North of England from Madrid in 2011.
After Zabaleta, it's the turn of the Gallagher brothers with both Noel and Liam lifelong City fans and even Maine Road regulars back in the 80's and 1990's.
Kun seems genuinely surprised to see the message from Lionel Messi. "Hello young man. I wanted to congratulate you on the record ad I'm delighted for you", observed the Argentine No.10 closing his message with: "You know I love you loads and wish you all the best".
