Messi out of Barcelona team to face Juventus
The Argentinian striker was left out of the starting line-up for the Champions League match against Juve.
Leo Messi is not in Barcelona's starting line-up for tonight's Champions League match against Juventus in Turin, being dropped to the bench, presumably as part of Valverde's rotation policy. Sources confirmed the Argentinian striker is not injured. Barcelona are away to second placed Valencia on Sunday, so the coach clearly feels that's more important than this match.
With Messi rested the Barcelona starting XI is as follows, with Deulofeu and Suárez up front:
