Real Madrid will face the next LaLiga challenge, against Sevilla, without the services of three important players: Casemiro, Carvajal and Sergio Ramos. The Brazilian midfielder and Spanish full back received their fifth yellow cards in the league respectively resulting in a one-match suspension. The former Sevilla player, Ramos was sent off at San Mamés after receiving two yellows.

Sergio Ramos red count continues

Casemiro was booked in the 72nd minute of the match for catching Aduriz with an elbow in a fight for an aerial ball. The Brazilian protested Mateu's decision but a foul was given and a yellow brandished.

Ramos, meanwhile, was ejected for two unneccessary challenges. The first came in the 10th minute of the first half for a foul on Raúl García and the second in the 86th minute for an elbow into Aduriz. This was the nineteenth red card in LaLiga, meaning he has the record for the most. In all competitions Ramos has been sent off 24 times.

Dani Carvajal picked up his fifth yellow of the season after tripping Cordoba in the 90th minute. The Athletic player had only recently come onto the field.
