Atlético Madrid dropped out of the Champions League at the first hurdle on Tuesday night for the first time under Diego Simeone's watch. Saúl Niguez, the goalscorer in their 1-1 draw with Chelsea spoke to the media after the game.

The game: "It's a shame. We worked hard, we showed out true selves and it's a shame that the scored a goal. You can't do anymore and now we think about the next game."

Qarabag: "We can't blame the others. We have to be self-critical. Things didn't go as we wished."

Europa League: "We will greet it with the most enthusiasm that is possible. It's a good competition."

Goal: "It doesn't mean anything. If we would have won, and the other result went out way, it would have been an important goal."
