VAR rules out offside Al Jazira goal that would have made it 2-0

Real Madrid pushed everyone forward for a corner and nearlt paid the price after they had seen a Casemiro goal ruled out for offside with the help of VAR earlier.

Update:
VAR rules out offside Al Jazira goal that would have made it 2-0

The alarms sounded as Real Madrid looked to have conceded their second goal just after the half-time break when Al Jazira broke from a corner and beat Keylor Navas. They were saved, however, when the referee called for VAR and the video assistant ruled the goal out for offside.

Al Jazira broke and Mabkhout fed Boussoufa in a two-on-one situation with Keylor Navas helpless. As they celebrated though, the referee made the signal for VAR with his hands and before we knew it, the game was back in action and the scoreboard remained 1-0.

Real Madrid pushed 10 men forward for the corner and when Achraf missed the tackle to leave the two Al Jazira attackers in acres of space, it looked a matter of time but their timing was off and the Brazilian, Ricci, scratched it off before Real Madrid came back to win the game 2-1.
