Barcelona eyeing move for former Real Madrid canterano
José Ángel Pozo, who was in Madrid's youth academy before signing for Manchester City in 2012, currently plays for UD Almería.
Barcelona are set to make their first move in the winter transfer market to bolster their attacking options with a bid for Almería striker José Ángel Pozo, according to a report from Spanish radio station Onda Cero.
The Camp Nou are keen to add the 21-year-old to the ranks of Gerard López’s Barcelona B in January with a view to incorporating the former Real Madrid canterano into the first team next summer.
Real Madrid and Manchester City
Pozo started out at Fuengirola before being scouted for the Madrid academy in 2007. Manchester City paid 2.4 million euros to take him to the Etihad in 2012, where he made three senior appearances before signing for Almería in 2015.
This season Pozo has scored twice in 18 appearances and provided four assists.
