Barcelona's Rafinha Alcántara closing in on Inter Milan move
Barça's 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder could join the Serie A club on a loan deal with an 18-million-euro summer purchase option.
Rafinha Alcántara is in line to join Inter Milan on loan from Barcelona, in a deal set to include an option for the Serie A club to buy the midfielder for an expected fee of around 18 million euros in the summer.
Rafinha, who recently recovered from a serious injury that has kept him out of action for eight months, is thought to be keen to seek first-team football elsewhere, with regular game time unlikely under Barça head coach Ernesto Valverde.
Agreement in place between Rafinha and Inter
The 24-year-old Brazil international is understood to have an agreement in place with Inter, and must now wait for the Nerazzurri to strike a deal with Barcelona.
Mazinho, Rafinha's father and agent, held talks with Barça on Wednesday, with a view to sealing the Blaugrana youth product's departure from the Camp Nou.
Rafinha has not played since suffering a knee injury in a LaLiga clash with Granada last April, with his return delayed by a misdiagnosis by club doctors that forced him to undergo a further operation in October.
