Neymar: nearly 500,000 euros per social-media advertising post

Le Parisien has published figures that shed further light on the Paris Saint-Germain ace's eye-watering income from endorsements.

Figures published in the French media this week have offered an insight into the staggering earning power of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

Having already pocketed an improved yearly salary of 36.8 million euros gross from his world-record summer move to PSG from Barcelona, his income from endorsements also appears to be growing and growing.

459,000 euros per Instagram, Facebook or Twitter post

And according to the newspaper Le Parisien, which quotes data by Blinkfire Analytics, a single advertising post on one of the footballer's social-media profiles is thought to be worth as much as 459,000 euros to the 26-year-old.

"If we take into account all content posted in January by Neymar, we reach a value of 34 million euros," reveals Christian Olivares, Blinkfire's commercial director.

Neymar is the face of a host of brands including Nike, Volkswagen, Gaga and Panasonic, and currently boasts 88.8 million followers on Instagram, 60 million on Facebook and 37.6 million on Twitter.
