Pennant dismisses webcam sex claims: "I'm not a porn star"
The ex-Arsenal and Liverpool winger has hit out at a report claiming he was caught participating in a webcam sex session with his wife.
Former Premier League footballer Jermaine Pennant has angrily dismissed reports that he was caught taking part in a webcam sex session.
The newspaper The Sun said on Friday that Pennant had been spotted on camera participating in a sex act with his glamour model wife Alice Goodwin.
"Calling me a porn star [...] is just a joke"
According to the publication, Pennant was identified by an eagle-eyed viewer because of his tattoos, despite his face remaining hidden throughout.
But Pennant, who had a spell in Spain with Real Zaragoza in the 2009/10 season, said that The Sun's story was "laughable" and "shambolic".
The 35-year-old winger told the Mirror: "Calling me a porn star and putting it on the front page of their paper is just a joke.
"I'm not and will never be a porn star".
Pennant's Billericay exit confirmed on Saturday
English non-league club Billericay Town, who the one-time Arsenal and Liverpool man joined last July, announced his departure the day after the claims emerged.
However, it has been reported that Pennant actually left the Isthmian League Premier Division side two weeks ago.
35-year-old to take legal action
"Our lawyers are dealing with the situation now," Pennant added.
"This kind of thing needs to stop, just because I'm seen as an easy target doesn’t give anyone the right to write stories like that."
