Isco played his 227th match for Real Madrid against Espanyol on Tuesday evening, drawing level with Zinedine Zidane in the appearance stakes in the process.
Zidane more prolific than Isco
The current coach boasts more impressive numbers than his pupil. Zidane scored 49 goals in his 227 goals, nine more than Isco. Zidane also spent more time on the pitch: playing for 18,201 minutes to Isco's 14,090.
