Juventus-Real Madrid: Mandzukic the only doubt for Serie A side

Massimiliano Allegri welcomed Bernardeschi and Álex Sandro back to training on Sunday ahead of the Champions League quarter-final with Madrid.

Massimiliano Allegri was without three important players as Juventus beat Milan 3-1 on Saturday evening to take an important step towards retaining the Scudetto. Federico Bernardeschi, Alex Sandro, and Mario Mandzukic all watched from the stands.

Yet Bernardeschi and Sandro rejoined training on Sunday as Juventus look towards the mid-week match against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The former had been out of action for over a month with a knee complaint, while Sandro was only absent for the Milan match due to a thigh complaint.

Mandzukic a doubt for Tuesday

The only player who did not train on Sunday was Mandzukic, the man who scored Juve's only goal in the Champions League final defeat to Madrid in Cardiff.

The Croatian is a doubt for the repeat of that match on Tuesday evening, but Juan Cuadrado will be available after returning from a three-month spell on the treatment table with a groin injury.
