2,000 security agents to oversee high-risk Real Madrid-Juve tie
3,400 Juventus fans are expected to support their side in the Spanish capital despite the adverse 0-3 scoreline from the first leg in Turin.
Two thousand security agents including police officers, medical services and club private security operatives will be on guard in and around the Santiago Bernabeu stadium ahead of the Champions League quarter final (second leg) as Real Madrid face Serie A side Juventus.
All 77,000 match tickets have been sold with 3,400 "Bianconeri" supporters set to accompany their side despite the 0-3 scoreline from last week's first leg in Turin.
The game was declared as a "high-risk" event last March by Spain's state commission against violence, xenophobia and intolerance in sport hence the added security reinforcement .
There will be an added police presence in key tourist hot spots of the Spanish capital with the central Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol two areas where the visiting fans are set to congregate pre--match.
