Real Madrid-Bayern: Alaba returns to Robben-less squad
David Alaba and Javi Martínez make Bayern Munich's squad for Tuesday's Champions League clash, but Arjen Robben has not recovered.
David Alaba has returned to the Bayern Munich squad ahead of Tuesday's Champions League semi-final second leg with Real Madrid, but Arjen Robben misses the clash at the Bernabéu.
Alaba, Martínez make Bayern travelling party
Alaba is back in contention after missing the first leg with a thigh issue, while Javi Martínez is also fit despite being taken off with a head injury in the 2-1 defeat to Real.
Robben, Boateng ruled out by first-leg injuries
Robben and Jerome Boateng are both sidelined after picking up groin injuries against Los Blancos in Munich, joining Manuel Neuer, Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman in the German champions' sickbay.
Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes reportedly revealed on Sunday that it would be "too big a risk" to rush Robben back in time for the last-four return in Spain.
Bayern Munich squad to face Real Madrid:
Ulreich, Starke, Früchtl, Wagner, Süle, Hummels, Thiago, Ribéry, Javi Martínez, Lewandowski, James, Rafinha, Bernat, Mai, Shabani, Rudy, Tolisso, Müller, Alaba, Dorsch and Kimmich.
