He may be switching teams, but LeBron James will not be changing numbers. He will wear 23 for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers have updated their online store to promote jerseys and t-shirts featuring James' number 23 in purple and gold on the home page.
Signed for Lakers on four-year deal on Sunday
James opted out of his contract with Cavaliers on Friday to become free agent and announced on Sunday through his agency that he had agreed to a four-year contract worth $154million with the Lakers.
James, 33, averaged 27.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for the Cavs last season. The four-time MVP upped those numbers to 34 points and 9.1 rebounds during Cleveland’s run to the NBA Finals, where they were swept by the Golden State Warriors.
