Barcelona's Lucas Digne on the brink of making Everton move
The French full-back could miss today's ICC game against Tottenham in Pasadena while Barcelona complete the finer details of his transfer to Goodison.
Barcelona continue to trim back their squad and after offloading Gerard Deulofeu and loaning out Paulinho, the next player who is set to leave is Lucas Digne.
Digne could be joined by Yerry Mina at Goodison
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalans have agreed to sell Digne to Everton for 20 million euros. They add that while the deal is more of less done, it is not yet complete as Barça and Everton are studying whether Yerry Mina could also be included in the operation.
Spurs friendly
So it seems unlikely that Digne will take part in today's International Champions Cup meeting with Tottenham at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena - Barcelona's first outing of the pre-season.
Opportunity knocks for Miranda and Cucurella
With the sale of Digne, Barça will only have Jordi Alba as the only natural left-back in the squad which would open up opportunities to youth team players Juan Miranda and Marc Cucurella, both of whom are with the first team squad on the US tour.
