Alavés-Real Madrid: Ramos, Bale return, Vinicius again included
Real Madrid head coach Julen Lopetegui has named a 20-man squad for the trip to Vitoria to face Alavés in LaLiga today (18:30 CEST).
Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos have returned to the Real Madrid squad for today's LaLiga clash with Alavés at Mendizorroza (18:30 CEST), having both missed the midweek Champions League defeat to CSKA Moscow.
Ramos was rested for the trip to Russia (with Real boss Julen Lopetegui explaining that "his hamstrings will be grateful") and Bale also did not travel after being forced off with an apparent muscle injury in last weekend's draw with Atlético Madrid. However, a scan finally revealed that the Welshman had suffered no damage.
Vinicius features in Real Madrid squad once more
Having made his first-team debut as a second-half substitute against Atlético, 18-year-old starlet Vinicius has once more been included in Real's matchday group.
Carvajal, Marcelo and Isco unavailable
Dani Carvajal is unavailable after picking up a calf injury against CSKA, while Marcelo (also calf) and Isco (appendicitis) remain out of action.
Real Madrid squad to face Alavés:
Goalkeepers: Navas, Courtois and Casilla.
Defenders: Varane, Ramos, Nacho, Vallejo, Odriozola and Reguilón.
Midfielders: Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Asensio, Ceballos and Llorente.
Forwards: Benzema, Bale, Mariano and Lucas Vázquez.
