Atlético Madrid have chosen to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness month by lighting up the Wanda Metropolitano stadium pink.

The month of October is dedicated to a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research. Friday 19 October has been assigned as the day to 'wear it pink' and LaLiga clubs have been playing their part on social media.
The Madrid club is going a step further, though, and turning on the lights of the stadium with a change in hue. The night sky around the Wanda will glow pink as the fight continues against the disease that devastates lives around the world.
