El Clásico looms large, and the front pages of the Catalonia-based sports press are, unsurprisingly, dedicated to Sunday's box-office clash at the Camp Nou.

Mundo Deportivo hails midfield man Arthur

Mundo Deportivo leads with a player who it heralds as the midfielder destined to dictate Barcelona's passing game against Real Madrid - and beyond. That man is Arthur Melo, who has impressed since arriving from Gremio in the summer and is feeling the love of the Blaugrana supporters after his Champions League display against Inter Milan on Wednesday.

The Brazilian came away from the 2-0 win with a knock, but is set to be fit to take his place in the Barça XI this weekend.

"Arthur wins Barça fans' hearts", declares Mundo Deportivo's front page on Friday.

Barcelona expected to be unchanged from Inter win

Meanwhile, Sport's cover is given over to what it expects that line-up to be, with the publication predicting that head coach Ernesto Valverde will place his faith in the men who saw off the Nerazzurri in midweek: Marc-André ter Stegen, Sergi Roberto, Gerard Piqué, Clément Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Arthur, Rafinha, Luis Suárez and Philippe Coutinho.

"The 11 chosen men for El Clásico", says Sport's Friday front page.
