After signing his first professional contract and making his debut at 16, the 17-year-old has completed his first season at the top and Rodrygo Goes is the real deal.

Rodrygo Silva de Goes, has finished his first year as a professional footballer and continues his meteoric rise. He has already settled at one of the Brazil's biggest clubs, has signed with Real Madrid and has the possibility of playing in the South American U-20 championship and World Cup next year. Also, the window for a call-up to the Brazil national team is wide open with Tite paying attention and he could be summoned in the coming months. He needs to improve physically to get the call but it's not far away. 

His arrival at Real Madrid is scheduled for the summer but they have not ruled out the possibility of bring him to the club in January.

Elano named his in the first team squad at Santos in November 2017 after he had just signed his professional deal in July. He debuted at 16 just three days later and has not stopped moving forward since then. This season, in all competitions, he has scored 10 goals.

Within the Brazilian championship, he is third in key passes and his speed on the counter is devastating. The 17-year-old also leads the league in yellow cards with 18 and second with the most reds with a couple.
