COPA DEL REY
Copa del Rey 2018/19: Round of 16 draw, as it happened
Real Madrid have a chance to avenge last year's exit from the competition as they face Leganes in the round of 16. Barça face Levante.
Real Madrid were paired with local rivals Leganes in the Spanish Cup last 16 draw on Thursday, the side that eliminated them at the quarter-final stage last season.
Leganes earned an historic victory to humble the European champions on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate draw, reaching the semi-finals for the first time, although they were beaten by Sevilla.
Meanwhile reigning champions and record 30-time cup winners Barcelona will face east coast side Levante.
The only side outside the top flight, second division Sporting Gijon, play Valencia, while last season's runners-up Sevilla face struggling Athletic Bilbao.
The other fixtures are Getafe v Real Valladolid, Real Betis v Real Sociedad, Girona v Atletico Madrid and Villarreal v Espanyol.
The first legs will take place between January 8-10, with the second legs a week later, January 15-17.
