Brahim Díaz tells Real Madrid-linked Firpo: "See you soon!"
The Real Madrid new boy posted an intriguing response to Real Betis full-back Júnior Firpo's message congratulating him on his move.
Real Madrid signing Brahim Díaz on Sunday fuelled speculation over his new club's transfer plans, after being involved in a social-media exchange with Real Betis' Júnior Firpo that suggested the left-back could join him at the Bernabéu.
Real Madrid keeping tabs on Firpo
After being congratulated by Firpo on his move from Manchester City, Brahim replied, "See you soon!" - an intriguing response which comes hot on the heels of AS' recent revelation of Madrid's interest in the Betis youth product, who has impressed since breaking into Los Verdiblancos' first team in the past year.
Like Brahim, the Dominican-born defender grew up in the Málaga area, and has represented Spain at age-group level alongside the ex-Manchester City man.
Firpo not likely to make weekend Madrid clash
Firpo, 22, is currently recovering from a muscle injury and is unlikely to be fit to face Madrid in Los Blancos' LaLiga visit to the Benito Villamarín next Sunday. On Monday, he again trained away from the Betis group, as did centre-back Sidnei, who is also not expected to feature at the weekend.
