Santiago Solari had the services of Brahim Díaz for the first time at training at Valdebebas on Tuesday morning after the teenager completed his move from Manchester City and was presented to the Santiago Bernabéu on Monday.

The Malaga-born attacking midfielder remains the only Real Madrid signing in the winter transfer market so far and is hoping to be called into his first squad when Real Madrid play Leganés in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday at 21:30 CET.

The attacking midfielder cost €15 million from the Premier League side, who were more than happy to let him leave with six months to run on his cotnract, rather than lose him for nothing in the summer. He was joined by Real Madrid Castilla striker Cristo, who took his chance to train with the first team due to injuries to Gareth Bale and Mariano Díaz.

Toni Kroos' most recent injury diagnosis, a Grade 2 abductor tear, meant Fidalgo also got a chance to train with the first team along with Jorge de Frutos. They all have a chance of playing minutes against Leganés given the injuries to key players.

Kroos, Mariano and Bale all remained inside the building to continue their recovery along with Marcos Llorente and Javi Sánchez.
