The news of the loan move was confirmed this evening on Canal + France as vice-president Vadim Vasilev maintained that all relevant sides (Valencia, Monaco, Chelsea and the player) had reached an agreement which would see the Belgian move to Ligue 1.

Batshuayi trained at Paterna with the rest of his Valencia team-mates this morning as the side prepare for the Copa del Rey second leg against Sporting Gijon and is now set to be reunited with Monaco boss Thierry Henry who was the number two to Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez.
