Schuster: "Something big must have happened for Isco to have been dropped"
Ex-Real Madrid player and coach Bernd Schuster spoke to El Transistor about Isco's situation. He also revealed he's thinking about coaching again in Spain.
Bernd Schuster was one of the special guests on El Transistor last night, and apart from analyzing Marcelo's loss of form and his experience of coaching in China, he also touched on several other topics - including Isco losing his place in the Real Madrid side under Solari.
Spell in China: "The experience of working in China was really good, very interesting, and well worth the effort".
Coaching in Spain again: "I'd like to get back to coaching, and competing in Europe, if it's in Spain then even better; China is very far away, and it's not easy being apart from your family and your people".
Chinese tastes in football
Following European football in China: "In China, fans tend to watch more matches from the Premier League and the Bundesliga than games from the Spanish league".
Barcelona starting XI in the Copa del Rey: "The Barça side we saw last night isn't going to win many games. They wouldn't score in three hours".
Kevin-Prince Boateng: "I wasn't surprised by the Boateng signing, I think he can bring experience and he's arrived knowing that he's going to be a back-up on the bench; that's good for a coach because he's not going to cause any problems".
Joachim Löw: "Löw is a very open coach, he's been the only one who's known how to introduce elements of the Spanish game into Germany's national team - he likes LaLiga a lot. I think he'd be a good candidate for the Real Madrid job".
Isco frozen out: "Something big must have happened for Isco to not be a first choice in the side".
Vinicius Junior: "I like Vinicius, I think he'll be an important player for Madrid".
