Tite sends his son to spy on Vinicius on unplanned trip
The Brazilian assistant, Mateus Bachi, and fitness coach, Fábio Mahseredjian, will travel to Madrd to watch Vinicius and Real Madrid play Girona on Sunday.
Vinicius' exlosion mixed with Neymar's recent injury has changed the course of Brazil's national team. Tite has decided to send scouts including Mateus Bacho, his son, and his fitness coach to watch Real Madrid play Girona next Sunday at the Bernabéu.
The objective is not a secret. It is to follow the development of the young star as he continues to earn plaudits with his displays in white.
It will be the second time a member of Brazil's back-room staff has watched the 18-year-old. Another assistent, former Barcelona full-back Sylvinho, was sent to the Clásico in the Copa del Rey to watch the teenager.
Tite trying to figure out squad for friendlies and Copa down the line
Tite and the his staff have been making trips to Europe since early February to watch players he is thinking about calling up for the Panama and the Czech Republic games on March 23 and 26. More importantly, however, is the Copa America during the Summer between June 14 to July 7, which Brazil will host.
The difference between the two scouting trips is that Sylvinho's trip was planned and announced on the Brazilian football federation's website. The second is ad hoc venture to Madrid as it seems Tite is closing in on calling the Real Madrid player.
Tite will announce his squad on February 28th and he wants Neymar, his captain, to recover adequately before being called again. It's a perfect chance for Vinicius to play minutes and earn the trust of the coach.
