Ajax bounce back from Madrid defeat with 5-0 rout over NAC
There was no domestic hangover for the Amsterdam side after the midweek disappointment in the Champions League as they put five past NAC Breda.
Ajax showed no signs of any post-Real Madrid trauma today at the Amsterdam Arena as they returned to domestic action as they faced bottom club NAC Breda.
With leaders PSV only managing a 2-2 draw away to Heerenveen yesterday Erik ten Hag's men were presented with an ideal opportunity to claw back ground at the top of the Dutch league.
Two goals from Dusan Tadic, a Dolberg second, an own goal from NAC's Kastaneer and 70th minute effort from Ziyech went some way in making up for the Champions League defeat for the Dutch side who were disappointed to fall 1-2 to holders Madrid despite dominating swatches of the action in Amsterdam on Wednesday. The return leg is scheduled for the Santiago Bernabeu on March 5th.
