Sara Sálamo's sweet message to Isco after his Real Madrid 'return'
Los Blancos' player was back in the starting side under Zidane and dedicated his goal to his partner and soon-to-be baby boy.
The return of Zinedine Zidane to the Real Madrid bench saw the team engineer a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday. It also meant another chance being given to players that served the Frenchman so well in his previous management spell at the club. One of those was Isco, and his wife posted a lovely message on social media about him being back in the spotlight.
Isco moment forever
Although not at his best, the Málaga-born midfielder got himself on the scoresheet and with that dedicated the goal with his celebration to his partner Sara Sálamo and their future son. And the Canarian actress didn't want to miss her opportunity to comment on her Instagram account.
Sálamo, who in recent times has preferred to remain quiet on social media regarding Isco's career, wanted to share her joy of the goal. After scoring, Isco had put his thumb to his mouth and pointed towards the actress. Her later post was a photo of that moment with a message that read:
'I will keep this photo forever, Isco. Congratulations on your goal, your perseverance, your talent and your work ethic! We are very proud of you.'
The player also posted that momemnt with a simple message to his fans: 'Wonderful night!' It was clear that he was in a much happier place following being pushed to the sidelines for most of the season.
Sálamo and Isco await announced that they were expecting last December while on holiday for Christmas in Tenerife.
