Juventus: Serie A leaders have three records in their sights

Despite losing to Genoa on Sunday, Juve are cruising to another Italian title - and can break a few records in the process.

After a magical midweek in which they produced a stunning comeback to knock Atlético Madrid out of the Champions League, Juventus were brought back down to earth on Sunday as, in the absence of the rested Cristiano Ronaldo, they went down 2-0 to Genoa in Serie A.

But despite the defeat, their first in the league this season, Massimiliano Allegri's men remain 15 points clear at the top of the table and are streaking to an eighth straight Scudetto, with three domestic records within their sights.

Points record:

Juve have 75 points after 28 games of the 2018/19 Serie A season, and have 10 matches left to beat the record that they themselves set under Antonio Conte in 2013/14: 102. As things stand, Allegri's side are in a position to finish with 105.

Quickest title win:

Inter Milan clinched the Italian championship with five games to spare in 2006/07. At their current rate, Juve could have the title sewn up with six or seven matchdays still to be played.

Meanest defence:

Though mathematically still possible, this is the record that the Vecchia Signora appear least likely to break. After letting in two at Genoa, they have now conceded 19 times in Serie A this term - one fewer than the league's lowest ever goals-against tally of 20, set by Inter in 2015/16.
