LeBron James will play no further part in the NBA season, the LA Lakers have announced as the regular season winds down.

The Los Angeles franchise have no chance in securing a place in the end of season play-offs with fans calling for their star player to be rested.

A move to LA was “a dream come true,” according to the Ohio native after he moved from Cleveland Cavaliers last year and being traded to Los Angeles.
