The Brazilian forward spoke ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Camp Nou, and certainly favours the Barça style.
Former Brazilian footballer Ronaldo de Assis Moreira spoke about the return leg of the Champions League that sees Barcelona host Manchester United at the Camp Nou. Ronaldinho (as he is better known) is confident there will be a home victory, one that takes Ernesto Valverde's team into the semi-final, but has a little word of warning.
Ronaldinho favours Barça style
The Barça legend admits that the side now managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has a chance of progressing and knows that their best chance lies in getting on the front foot early.
"If United score the first goal, the stadium will become nervous and you never know what can happen," he said, believing that the scoreline from the first leg should have made this game a formality.
"With only a 1-0 lead, Manchester still believe in the comeback. I think they [Barça] should have finished the job over there."
But despite an acknowledgement that the tie is still in the balance, the home side's style of play should be decisive assured the Brazilian.
"With the way that Barça play, and the amount of goals they have scored this season, I expect them to progress. "
By coming through against the Red Devils on Tuesday evening, Valverde will break the quarter-final curse that has hung over the club. They have been knocked out at this stage three times in a row.
