Sunday night was the game that saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic lose his temper, something that he might have done on purpose as he needs that spark to "feel alive."

"I like to spice things up, because sometimes - not that I fall asleep, but I don't feel alive if they don't actually activate me... when I get angry, I feel good."

And he did it by grabbing RSL's Nedum Onuoha in the 60th minute and throwing him to the ground, which earned Zlatan a yellow card and angry response from the Nigerian defender.

Things escalated between the two after Ibrahimovic scored his eighth goal of the season in the 78th minute and gave Galaxy the win that puts them just one point behind crosstown rivals, Los Angeles FC in the Western Conference.

The Swedish superstar exploded and went straight for Onuoha shouting and screaming in the defender's face, but the action on the field had no hard consequences. At the end of the match, Zlatan took a detour to Real Salt Lake locker room to shake hands with Nedum as it was "no big deal, and what happens on the field stays on the field," a sentiment that was not shared by the center back.

Zlatan's apology not accepted

The incident with Zlatan was a big deal for Onuoha, and he wasn't willing to shake hands with the 'Swedish Lion,' as the LA Galaxy captain had to be escorted out of the room.

“He came in to apologize after the game because from 60 minutes in, he's saying to me he's going to do me, he's going to hurt me for that game,” Onuoha said afterward. “So I don't care. Someone comes in and tries to do that to me – you don't say that on the field. I don't care. I'm not going to accept his apology. It's unacceptable.”
