Real Madrid reluctant to match Pogba salary demands
If the French international is to make a summer move to the Santiago Bernabeú, he would need to take a reduction in salary for the deal to materialise.

The name of Manchester United's Paul Pogba has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks with the return of long time admirer Zinedine Zidane on the Bernabeú adding fuel to the flames.
Paul Pogba and Real Madrid have been quietly flirting with each other in the past few weeks: "Playing for Real Madrid is the dream of every footballer and even more so under Zidane", admitted Pogba in March when on international duty. Zidane too has used countless press conferences to express the admiration he holds for Pogba as a player. "I like him a great deal, that's nothing new. He's a midfielder who knows how to both attack and defend" claimed Zizou in front of the assembled media.

Income
Pogba's current salary (at United) would see him move the top of the highest earners at the LaLiga club ahead of the likes of Gareth Bale (currently earning 15 million euro per season) and Sergio Ramos on 11.8 million euro per campaign.
The player's salary was reported as one of the potential stumbling blocks of a potential move with ESPN's Mark Ogden reporting that the Spanish club are unwilling to match Pogba's salary.
Real Madrid reportedly won't match Pogba's $378k per week salary.https://t.co/kYRVSr4udj
