On Saturday, LA Galaxy will visit the New York Red Bulls, one of the seven teams the Swede hasn't managed to score against since going to the US.
LA Galaxy are preparing to steal top spot in the Western Conference, but first they need to beat the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, in a match in which Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be in charge of the attack. However, the striker hasn't been able to score against the New York teams.
Since Ibra joined LA Galaxy a year ago, 16 of the 23 teams in the league have conceded goals by the Swede, but of the seven he has not been able to score against, he has only faced four, including the New York Red Bulls.
The Galaxy captain hasn't scored against NYC FC, but unlike Red Bulls, the LA team haven't faced the Pigeons since his arrival. The four clubs Ibra still needs to net against are Montreal Impact, Colorado Rapids, Atlanta United and of course the NY Red Bulls.
The Swede is enjoying a great scoring streak with Galaxy. Having hit eight goals in seven games so far this season, he is in second place in the scoring charts behind Carlos Vela, who has 11 goals.
