DC United to play friendlies against Betis and Marseille

Audi Field is ready to open its door to host two international friendly matches one next Wednesday, May 22, with the game against the French side in July.

No rest at present for DC United as the side from the capital get ready to host Spanish club, Real Betis this Wednesday, May 22 at Audi Field, for a friendly match before the Black and Reds take to the road again to visit New England Revolution on Saturday, May 25.

The Spanish LaLiga 2018/19 season ended last weekend with Real Betis is already on its way to American soil to face Wayne Rooney's side, as announced by DC United through its social networks.

The game between DC United and Real Betis will be the second international match played at Audi Field, and the first time Betis will play in Washington DC.

Olympique Marseille

DC United also announced a friendly match against the French side that will take place on July 24, which will be Marseille's first friendly in the United States.

Olympique will have the opportunity to meet its fans from outside Europe in this game that will be part of the preseason the French side will undergoing as they prepare for the 2019-20 Ligue 1 campaign.
