Neymar meets up with Vinicius as his future remains unclear
With doubts over where PSG's Brazilian star will be playing next season, the player hooked up with Real Madrid's young forward.
There are many Real Madrid supporters desperate for Florentino Pérez to make Neymar Jr one of the marquee signings of the summer and a photo that emerged late on Sunday had their hopeful tongues wagging.
Neymar and Vinicius hook up
Real Madrid's young star Vinicius and the more experienced Brazilian international met up in their homeland and were photographed together. The two are great friends and so there should have been no surprise in this, especially as they were attending the same birthday party.
Despite the normality of them coinciding at the do, questions were previously raised over Neymar's early departure from the PSG camp. Expected to join with the Brazilian national team for Copa América preparation - played from June 14 to July 7 - he headed off apparently without permission from manager Thomas Tuchel. Vinicius is there on holiday from his new European home, as he is not in Tite's plans for the continental tournament.
The timing of the photo, and the reason for some getting excited that the two Brazilians could link up on the pitch next season for the LaLiga club, is due to the uncertainty that currently surrounds Neymar. Rumours abound that he is primed for a move to form part of Zinedine Zidane's rebuild, while, French TV reported that he is going to stay in Paris to show what he is truly capable of.
