Bayern president sees a bright future for Alphonso Davies
The former Vancouver Whitecaps player moved to the German club during the winter transfer, where Uli Hoeness expects great things from him.
Former MLS player, Alphonso Davies, wrapped up his first season with the German club, Bayern Munich and joining the celebrations after the club won the German cup, before later helping the reserve team win promotion to the German third division.
Davies talked about his hectic close to his first season with Pro Soccer USA, where he described it as a good campaign since he got to play.
"It has been good, obviously, to get to play, I'm leaving on a high winning two trophies and helping Bayern II win, I'm just happy I can help in any way."
Bright future in Germany
Uli Hoeness, Bayern's president, had a few words about the Vancouver Whitecaps homegrown product and his future with the team.
"Davies is a great lad, who I like a lot, he is developing, and I am 100-percent sure that with him, we have a player who will be excellent at Bayern one day."
