UEFA change team photo protocol at the request of Pochettino
Pochettino feels his entire Spurs squad deserve to be recognised ahead of the Champions League final and UEFA have granted his request to change photo protocol.
Mauricio Pochettino has not named his team for the Champions League final on Saturday night but few doubts remain over who will start against Liverpool at the Wanda Metropolitano. The manager isn't concerned about just those who will take to the field at 21:00, however, and has asked UEFA to change the official photo for the game to represent that.
"I proposed a few weeks ago that the whole squad had a picture all together," Pochettino said. "I think UEFA listened when I told you, and I think that tomorrow, both teams will have the possibility for the whole squad to be on the pitch before the game and to take a picture."

UEFA have changed the protocol and announced that once the handshakes take place between the refs and captains, they will take a photo of both teams: one with the starting team and another with the entire squad.
Pochettino has been hailed for his work to get this far with no signings last summer. Harry Kane, the team's undisputed leader, missed important games on their way to the final also as the squad was spread thin with a Premier League top four place at stake in recent weeks also.
They have come out on the other side of all the tests they have faced this season and Pochettino wants that to be reflected in the team photo ahead of, arguably, the most important game in the club's history.
