Real Madrid express interest in Fabián Ruiz
Napoli consider the Spanish central midfielder to be "absolutely untransferable" after Real Madrid enquired about a potential move.
Fabián Ruiz, who dazzled at Real Betis before moving to Napoli, continues to develop into a world class talent. The central midfielder has become one of Carlo Ancelotti's key players and that growth has extended onto the international scene. He debuted against Faroe Islands and played an important role on Monday night against Sweden.
The 23-year-old is not short of admirers, but one year ago he was picked by Ancelotti as an important piece of his project with the Serie A side and the call from the former Real Madrid manager went a long way to convince him of the move.
Real Madrid are following his development closely and have been since his spell at Real Betis. On Monday, 'El Chiringuito' reported that Real Madrid are interested in the player and As can report that they have recieved information regarding his availability.
No release clause in Fabian's contract makes negotiating difficult
Fabián remains on Real Madrid's list of potential signings and they believe he will have an enormous future. At 23, he is already showing that and should continue to develop. It won't be easy to nab him from Napoli who say the player that cost them €30 million is "absolutely untransferable."
Napoli did not attach a release clause to his contract when signing him up making that a possibility and Real Madrid will have to come to some sort of agreement with the Serie A side if they have any hope. But Napoli want to battle for the Scudetto next season and have eyes of a deep run in Europe with Fabián at the forefront of those plans. This summer, it is impossible, but De Laurentiis might change for a "crazy" offer. That means more than double what they paid for him last summer to pry him from Betis.
