Jasper Cillessen's time at Barcelona is coming to an end. Tired of warming the bench at Camp Nou, the Dutch international goalkeeper looks set to move to the Premier League where several clubs would be willing to hand him the playing time he has been deprived of at Barcelona over the past three years.

The 30-year-old, who was limited to just three appearances in LaLiga last season and seven in the Copa del Rey, could be the first member of the Barça squad to move on this summer. Cillessen put in a transfer request a few weeks ago and his petition has been approved by the board. Barça would be looking to cash in the keeper for a figure close to the 20 million euro mark - they paid 15 million for him when they signed him from Ajax in 2016.

Offer from Portugal

Benfica were the first club to express an interest but they 12 million euro offer fell way short of the asking price. According to reports in Catalan press, the keeper is studying offers from Everton and West Ham. The Merseysiders could be on the lookout for a new keeper if David de Gea leaves Manchester United and their current No.1 Jordan Pickford is lured to Old Trafford. The money Everton would gain from Pickford's sale would finance Cillessen's move to Goodison and André Gomes'. United are also attentive to the situation as they will need a replacement if De Gea, who is in the last year of his contract, moves elsewhere.

West Ham's interest in Cillessen seems a little strange since they recently acquired David Martin on a two-year deal to compete with veteran keepers Lukasz Fabianski and recent arrival Roberto Jiménez.
