PSG open to letting Neymar leave - reports

According to L'Equipe, the Paris side will be willing to let the Brazil star go if a big enough offer comes in for him.

PSG would sell Neymar for the right offer

PSG will be willing to sell Neymar this summer if a sufficiently large offer comes in for the Brazil star, according to French outlet L'Equipe.

The return of sporting director Leonardo, made official on Friday, means the club is looking hard at the make up of the first team squad and one player who the club is now said to be willing to let go is Neymar.

Neymar sees future away from Paris

This news would be the first time since he joined in the summer of 2017 on a five-year deal that Neymar's departure from Paris is being seriously considered. L'Equipe also report that the player has begun to see his future away from the French capital, as he is tired and fed-up of life there, having suffered two major injuries in his time at the club and been the focus of negative reporting over his lifestyle. It is said that he had already told relatives he was struggling in Paris, even before he was accused of raping a model in a Paris hotel in May.

Furthermore, L'Equipe report that the club's backers in Qatar have decided the player is no longer fundamental to the club's future and so would be willing to sell provided they can get a good return on their investment.

In terms of buyers, the main interest appears to come from Spain, with Barcelona possibly interested in reuniting with the player they brought to Europe from Brazil, and Real Madrid's president Florentino Pérez keen to land the striker that evaded him when he moved first to Barcelona, then PSG.
