Neymar will miss the first three games of the Champions League next season after UEFA rejected his appeal for "insulting officials" after PSG were knocked out of the competition in the last 16 by Manchester United thanks to a late and somewhat controversial penalty scored by Marcus Rashford.

The Brazilian was injured for both legs with PSG winning the first leg at Old Trafford 2-0 before succumbing to an injury-plagued United side at the Parc des Princes. Neymar, who had rushed down to the sideline to witness the finals moments took to Instagram after the game for what he obviously deemed a very harsh penalty for a handball.

“This is a disgrace. They put four guys who don't understand football to analyse an incident... It's not a penalty. Go fuck yourselves," Neymar said after the game on Instagram.

Neymar's future hangs in the balance with Lionel Messi reportedly asking that the Brazilian be resigned by Barcelona two years after leaving for Paris. The player's stint in the French capital has been plagued by injuries and controversies as PSG also reportedly see a split as a possibility.
