Fans want Gregg Berhalter out of USA team after Mexico's win

The loss against the Mexican National Team is more than just another defeat, and the American fans know that - which is why they want the US coach gone.

United States endured a tough loss Sunday night against Mexico in the Gold Cup final, surrendering its 2017 title to the now eight-time and 2019 champions the Mexican National team, their all-time rivals.

Soldier Field saw a sad night for the USMNT, and even though USA had a great run in the tournament, the Stars and Stripes lost the most crucial match of them all - and the fans weren't happy with losing against Mexico, particularly in the venue that was supposed to be their fortress.

The criticism has been intense against the new US coach, Gregg Berhalter, as people think the job is too much for him, and his resignation has been already been widely demanded.

For the fans, it wasn't enough to give Berhalter a vote of confidence after the American strategist had an unbeaten record in official games, besides arriving in the final with a perfect record and only one goal conceded, no, to lose against Mexico was enough for the fans to want him gone.

And as such, they made their feelings known on social media, demanding for Berhalter to be taken off the bench of the United States Men's National Team. And some have a clear idea who they want to take on the USMNT coaching job:
