Pulisic: 'I can do well and bring a lot to the Premier League'
Christian Pulisic is excited about his new chapter as a Chelsea player and believes he can take on the role left by Eden Hazard who moved to Real Madrid.
Christian Pulisic finally made his long-awaited move to Chelsea, and joined his teammates in Japan on Tuesday where he had his first training session as a Blue.
Pulisic has the hard task of helping the Stamford Bridge side, and fans, cope with the loss of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, and the 20-year-old American starlet is confident he can deal with that burden and with the demands of English football.
Speaking with GAFFER magazine he talked about just wanting to get started, the huge change it is to be with Chelsea, but also how he has people around him for support. The main thing to come out, though, was Pulisic's excitement about his new chapter and about working under Frank Lampard.
"I know it's going to be tough, but I also know it's going to be a lot of fun. I think I have speed and creativity that I can bring to the game and different attacking abilities that can help the team. I think I can do well in the Premier League; I can't wait."
Frank Lampard
Christian Pulisic is excited about his new life with Chelsea but also about working with the legend, Frank Lampard.
"I grew up watching Frank Lampard and all those guys at the top of their game in the Premier League and the Champions League. To me, Chelsea was always one of the biggest teams and now to be playing here it's really come full circle from that moment. It feels amazing," Pulisic concluded.
