Takefusa Kubo made his first team debut for Zidane's Real Madrid this weekend, coming on as a half-time sub in the 3-1 International Champions Cup defeat to Bayern Munich. After the game, the Japanese player spoke to the media in the Mixed Zone.
Debut defeat
Disappointing start: "We lost 3-1 but I'm happy for making my debut. We really should have won and and that's why I feel a bit annoyed".
Zidane's words before going out onto the pitch: "He told me to be confident, to make sure I was always in the last 30 metres of the pitch and in a postion to put the ball away".
