Zidane's words before going out onto the pitch: "He told me to be confident, to make sure I was always in the last 30 metres of the pitch and in a postion to put the ball away".
Take Kubo, a reference for Japanese players
Japanese football: "There aren't many Japanese players in Europe. At Real Madrid, there's just me. I love it that fans are really excited about me and I'd like to be a reference for Japanese players".
Being accepted by the fans: "Madrid have followers all over the world. That's motivate me a lot".
Fitting in: "My team mates are very friendly and they talk to me a lot".
