Zlatan picks up Player of the Week award following hat trick heroics
Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels he is the best player in the MLS and after his performance in El Tráfico, and winning the POTW award, he may have a point.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims he's a Ferrari among Fiats... he also believes he is a better player than MLS top scorer, Carlos Vela and after his fantastic performance in the LA derby, he might have a point. Zlatan has picked up Player of the Week award for his display in the all-LA affair.
He netted a perfect hat-trick to gave LA Galaxy all three points over crosstown rivals, Los Angeles FC. That result puts the team on 37 points as they retake second place in the Western Conference.

His hat trick also means he is back just behind Carlos Vela in the league goal scoring table.
Player of the Week
Each week an MLS Player of the Week is chosen by the media and a fan voting process conducted by MLS Communications, with 75% of the vote going to North American Soccer reporters and a Twitter fan vote representing the remaining 25%.
