Cristiano Jr's surprise reaction: "Papá, you lived here?"

It is no secret that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world and thanks to that his family lives very well. His children have never known the struggles that their father had to go through at a young age, but it would appear that the current Juventus star is ensuring they grow up to understand the values that bring such a lifestyle.

Ronaldo shares values with son

Cristiano left his home in Madeira at the tender age of 12 to try his luck in the world of football, initially arriving in Lisbon. There he began to settle into a new life with his now best friend, Miguel Paixao. The two lived for a time in a residence and Ronaldo wanted to return there to reflect on the memories, showing his eldest son, who he calls Cristianinho, where it all began.

“I was so excited for him to see where I grew up," started the then Sporting player. "He already knew Madeira and the Marques de Pombal residence. He went up with me and there were still some of the same people who had lived there at the time. I was moved, if I am honest, because I didn't expect to see those people, and that touched me a bit,” he told TVI.

When his son saw where he lived, he was taken aback says Ronaldo.

“I went with Paixao and Cristianinho and we entered the room where I had stayed. My son turned to me and said: ‘Papa. Did you live here?' He could not believe it.

"They think everything is easy in this world. The quality of life, the houses, the cars, the clothes… They think that it all just falls into their lap. That it what I try to instill in my son, including when I do events in schools. I try to convey that these things don't come with having talent alone. But with hard work and dedication I think you can achieve everything you want to do,” he explained.
